On this page we will try to keep you up to date with developments at Lama-Lama, as well as with the planning of Dinokeng.

Our relationship with the McDonalds of Butjani Lodge has been strengthened and they are now managing our accommodation for us.  We will still be very much involved, but with their presence in the immediate area on a full time basis we are of the opinion that it will add value to our offerings. 

We obtained the services of a bush cook who will prepare you food for you.  Please enquire when making your booking. You bring - we cook!

Our regular church services on every third Sunday of every month is very well attended by people of the area as well as visitors from Pretoria and even Johannesburg, Kempton Park and the rest of the Rand.

We constructed a church which makes Lama-Lama the first choice in wedding venues in the bush!   The church was constructed for the wedding of Nico Boezaart with Trynie which took place on June 27, 2008 and now it is available for weddings and for church services on Sunday mornings

We are always busy with the upgrading of our accommodation.  At the moment we are changing more of the chalets to have bathroom facilities en-suite.

Tessa Boezaart passed away on May 22, 2006.  We will miss her dearly.

The Gauteng Government is far advanced in the planning of Dinokeng and the "Big Five" Reserve in the North-Eastern part of Gauteng. Lama-Lama forms part of the Leeuwfontein Collaborative Reserve, which in turn falls under Phase B of the planned "Big Five" Reserve.

The Dinokeng Integrated Tourism Development framework was released in December 2001 and is presently subject to the approval of the Gauteng Government.
